The Green Eggs and Ham Cafe is finally open! Long time visitors know that in recent years the stand in Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure was only open for special events and select busy days of the year. This holiday season the stand reopened with a fresh coat of paint and a new menu. The quick service eatery, which once featured burgers, fries, and a Green Eggs and Ham Sandwich, now serves tater tot-based bowls and Who Hash.

We tried the Green Eggs & Ham Tots and the Who Hash and recommend both (see the menu in the picture for the ingredients). The cheese sauce that comes on both dishes is savory and salty. The Who Hash has a more oniony and corn beefy flavor, and comes in a specially labeled, metal can, which makes for a neat souvenir. The tots were perfectly cooked in both dishes.

At the time of this writing, the cafe hours are 9:30 am - 5:00 pm daily. Limited outdoor seating is available. No word yet on whether the stand will remain open after the holidays.
